CHOOSING A GAS FIRE
If you choose a gas fire the installation is very important. A qualified and registered independent engineer will come along and fit your new fire at a time convenient to you, typically within three weeks of your order.
Visit our showroom and we can discuss the type of flue you have and the amount of heat you require, we have many live displays to show you and once a decision has been made, we will arrange a site visit to make sure that the fire you’ve chosen is suitable for your home.
CHOOSING AN ELECTRIC FIRE
If you choose an electric fire installation can often be a DIY job, as many simply hang on the wall and plug in. These fires have become more and more popular in the last few years where customers require a more decorative feature rather than a major heating appliance. However, if you do require installation, we are happy to arrange a site visit by skilled independent installers who will assess if any electrical work is needed and install the fire if required.
Or have you considered a gas or electric fire suite? That is the fire and the fireplace together. Many of our electric fireplaces are one box products suitable for flat wall installations which require plugging into a 3-pin plug, this makes them perfect for apartments, living rooms and homes without a chimney or flue. Any fire suites can also be made to measure.
